OUR STORY
After a year of interest meetings, Bible studies, small groups, and monthly worship services Victory Chapel launched on April 21, 2019 at the San Marcos Rec Hall in the heart of San Marcos.
After a 5,000-piece Egg Hunt Celebration in the park, we gathered in the Rec Hall to worship, pray, and cast vision for the future. After renting for a number of months following launch, we acquired our own space not far from the downtown square at 312 W Martin Luther King Dr. Since that time, our church family has grown and expanded, and now we have started a “Victory Promise” campaign to raise funds for the purchase or rental of a larger church facility.
Victory Chapel is affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International and is based out of New Life Austin (www.newlifeaustin.com).
The Dream Team
Our church is built by a growing team of volunteer leaders known as “The Dream Team.” From kids ministries to media to parking lot attendants to musicians and singers, they make the dream of Victory Chapel possible.
Our Pastors
After growing up as one of five kids in a pastor’s home, Paul graduated with a degree in History from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After college, he served in various ministry capacities before teaching in seminaries across the South Pacific. Alli is a natural-born Texan and loves meeting new people, drinking hot tea, and kayaking. She has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University. Together, Paul and Alli served in student ministry, church administration, and pastoral leadership before hearing a call to plant a new church in San Marcos.
In addition to serving as the VC pastors, Alli works as a Social Worker and Paul runs a men’s ministry resource organization called The Full Proof Man. They are also parents to Olive and baby Reed.
